Absolutely fantastic place for children. We took our 3 kids there and they loved it. All got registered by friendly staff for library cards. Lots of books to choose from , children can relax and read books on bean bags or sofa. Baby change facility. Children received a welcome pack and you can take their books back to ANY Kirklees library with no late fees. Will be going there regularly
Staff are very helpful and welcoming, had some photocopying to do staff couldn't do enough to help .
Very nice & educated co-operating staff , especially in computer section.
Good to use computers for printing documents.
It was the smell that brought it all back. It reminded me of when I was a child. It has not changed much in those 50 plus years. A lovely place to spend a wet afternoon. Shame they don't have a cafe.
Thisbis a public library located within the kirkless council in huddersfield.. open to all, free registration, printing is pretty cheap, photocopying if ok...got books and Computers for users.. staffs are polite and helpful.. got a quiet reading room..lots more. Visit today and you will find your expectation in there..
The children's book section is so great specially for the kids who just started reading books. They have all levels of books available with very helpful librarians.
