Jay and his staff are friendly and professional. Jay knows his stuff and has helped me overcome a 4 year shoulder issue. Excellent services and I would definitely recommend his services
I managed to book my first appointment within the week of enquiring about availability which was a good start. Came with dreadful lower back pain from playing a lot of football/ gym work. Had 3 sessions in total where my back pain cause was clearly identified and explained to me, along with exercises I could do to ease the pain. The actual treatment was also highly effective which has now caused my pain to be almost completely erased after only 3 weeks! Max was great with me as well, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.
The staff at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic are without doubt the friendliest and most helpful people you could ever hope to meet. They have always made time for me with my long standing injury, even Jay has given me extra time when I have been in considerable pain. He has even referred me to hospital when I was extremely bad. The service and price is brilliant and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks to Jay and his team, I am making more progress with them than any other treatment I have been offered by the doctors. Me and my mum both go regularly and we both recommend this clinic. I don't know how I would have coped without the treatment they have given me and I have complete faith and trust in them to get me to where I want to be. I give them my highest recommendation, as they are brilliant at what they do.
Great little place, started with an X-ray to see what was happening with my back & Pelvis and then had few sessions a week to correct my twisted pelvis and get me back in line! Gotta be consistent with appointments & exercise for it to work, not a one off fix!!
I know all about back pain. I was told by NHS that only a major operation with 50% success was my only chance of being pain free. 15 years ago I thought I would give this clinic a go. I have never looked back. In the last few years they recommended me to have 6/7 weeks maintenance which has been so beneficial to me and has become part of my life. From the minute you walk through the door, the professional warm and friendly way you are greeted is beyond expectations and Jay my chiropractor is again so approachable and such a lovely person. I have a passion for customer service, and unfortunately this is missing in so many organisations these days. If you are thinking about booking an appointment with this clinic, do it now, and like me, you will never look back. It then will be you who is recommending this clinic to everyone
I have suffered with neck pain / discomfort for almost two decades following a whiplash injury. I had twice pursued treatment on the NHS before being told that they were unable to help further. Recently the pain had become more regular and so I followed advice of a colleague and made an appointment at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic. Based on previous history I was hopeful rather than expectant of positive results. How wrong I had been. It is still early days with regard to my treatment but I have already noticed huge improvements - more movement / less pain. I cannot thank Paul and his team enough. I just wish I had made an appointment many years ago so that I could have benefited from a higher quality of life much sooner. Highly recommended.
Shocked at the treatment I got here. I've had back pain for about a week so I booked myself in. The chiropractor tested every part of me, telling me I had several other problems and did absolutely nothing about my back pain or any other treatment. I was then booked in 10 days later to start treatment. Annoyed by this I booked myself in at an Osteopath in Bridgford for the following day who checked out my spine etc and cured the back pain in just the 1 visit. It would seem that Hucknall Chiropractic are more interested in extending treatments to make more money than curing your pains.
Hi, sadly extremely disappointed on every level. Saw Jay, several appts, x rays, felt worse So contacted Doctors who referred me to Physio. I mentioned via the telephone I had paid for x rays at Chiro, it was suggested to save Nhs time and funds I should I obtain a copy of my X rays as I had paid for them. Conveniently when it was agreed I could take screen shots of the X-rays Jay said only the one was taken and that was front view. This was not true as he showed me my formation of the spine on the back x Ray. Disappointed too in the level and standard of the treatments. Going from room to room mid way through appointments obv treating more than one person at a time. Shocking experience. Sorry
I wish I'd read Darryls review! After having back ache for two weeks diagnosed by the doctor as sciatica and Based on a previous experience 10 years ago with sciatica and subsequently a visit to a chiropractor in Derby who fixed it in one visit I decided to visit Hucknall Chiropractic clinic. They were very polite and got me in on the next day, great!, this unfortunately is where the happy experience ends. I was given a consultation with one of their team this wasn't paul, who, you will notice ALL the good reviews are about who confirmed I had a problem with my back after doing a series of stretchs, movements and an xray. After about an hour he told me I'd have to book another visit to start 'treatment' at £29, this is after paying £44 and nothing being done to help ease the pain. I was naive and believed that these people would perform an adjustment on my first visit like on my previous experience unfortunately this is not the case. It seems to me that they're more concerned on prolonging treatment and ensuring an income to their business than than they are to helping with their patients pain. If your after a fix expect to become a regular patient paying more than just the initial fee and don't make the mistake i did of thinking they are the answer. I'm still in pain and taking prescription medicine for it
In May 2016 I had major breast surgery, which resulted in me being in chronic pain. My surgeon tried everything to ease the pain but had not come across anything like this before, My next option was yet again to have major surgery to hopefully ease my pain. After 5 weeks I was at a loss of what to do, and with the surgeon also being at a loss my husband suggested seeing Paul who I have seen on many occasions for various problems, not to mention my jaw! Within 5 minutes Paul knew what the problem was, I was suffering from intercostal muscle damage. My first visit was painful but afterwards I felt so much better, I have just had my 5th visit and feel 100% better. Even my surgeon is impressed. I cannot thank Paul enough for not only seeing me before surgery in a morning but for his excellent treatment. I would highly recommend Hucknall Chiropractor to anyone any age. The staff are all very helpful in making you feel at home. Paul is excellent in spotting any problems you have and also in sorting them out, allowing you to leave the practice feeling so much better. He goes above and beyond his call of duty. Not forgetting Jay who is also a Chiropractor at the practice.
