Lovely place to visit with kids, it has always been clean and free of litter when we go. A nice little stream with bridges and stepping stones and lots of open space for picnics. The shop, cafe and toilets could do with a face lift which is why I haven't given it a full 5 stars but otherwise its a great day out.
This is really such a lovely place to walk. So many beautiful trees. The leaves are starting to turn. It's just so pretty. Also a lovely stream with bridges made from stepping stones for youngsters or toddlers to cross in wellington boots Lots of happy dogs as well!
What a great place for the whole family, seemed clean and looked after, Limited parking, there is some paid spots, but sure in the summer months they will fill up soon..there is a little cafe, but it's Cash only... I've put what 3 words to a free parking spot, but be considerate, the way you park as to not block anyone in...
Nice place to have a stroll through or a picnic it has a little cafe and toilet's the cafe car park charge to park there but at the other end of the park there is a small free car park we even saw a crayfish in the river. We walked through from there to the cafe and a bit disappointed that the swings for the kids had all been removed. Update:-16/2/22 thought we would have a winter time walk and it was nice but really really muddy I wasn't expecting it to be that muddy, also the cafe doesn't take card so we couldn't get a drink .
Lovely place for a walk, good for children even has a little cafe, toilets and play area. Can get busy at weekends, irrisponsable dog owners can be a menace.
Lovely country park, clear water in the stream so kids and dogs can play in it, lots of places to sit and have a picnic, small cafe selling drinks, sandwiches and ice creams etc
I just love this park. And I noticed it has been tidied up alot, & some of the dead trees removed, which impressed me. Along the top walk, every now & again there were new small crops of beautiful fresh wild flowers, which I hope no-one picks. My daughter, little granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed or time there. And plenty of pooh-sticks were thrown from the bridges!!!
Beautiful place to walk the dog or play with your kids. Shallow steam along the bottom perfect for paddling. Just bring £1 for the all day parking and the cafe is cash only or it was when i went at least
As if time has stood still. The wonderful old, wooden cafe,is straight out of the 1930s. A beautiful, natural place to picnic, play, relax and walk. Children playing in the babbling stream, swinging from rope swings and crossing the stepping stone walkway. There are plenty of quiet spots to paint, write or read. Whatever your preference you can have a wonderful day out for the price of a parking ticket. Public toilets, play park, nature, walking, dogs must be on lead's in certain areas. I used to go on family outings as a child in the 1980s and every time I visit, that wonderful nostalgia returns. It also lives on in today's generation of children. Long may it continue. If you have time please go visit the village of Little Cawthorpe, just 10 minutes from Hubbard hills. You won't be disappointed.
Great place on the doorstep of Louth. Lots of families take picnics and spend the day. Lovely clean stream to play in, woods to.walk through, and green area to play games
