I have purchased my last 2 kitchens from Howdens 2 different homes plus we always go here when we need other bits for around the house. The staff are super helpful and friendly, especially the manager, Hayley. Any problems or queries are dealt with fast and efficiently and I personally wouldn't use anywhere else.
Initially excellent service in the shop. Wayne booked himself to come & measure up the following Wednesday, but he didn’t show up. We hung about waiting for a hour in case he was running late, making me late for work & my friend had an hour & a half round trip. 8 days later still no contact, no apology or a call to say why he didn’t show. Disappointed.
Really good kitchen design consultation. 2 hour appointment allowed plenty of detail to be put into the design. Definitely a better experience than the competition.
I went this morning to get a replacement door handle as I haven't an account they wouldn't serve me. The two people who fitted my kitchen are not available. One died and the other went to live down South..... Thank you for your help and consideration - Howdens.
Well I had a flood and needed a new kitchen. The lady that came out to measure up at my home was asking the builder what units etc would be fitted . I did have a few minor problems but these were ironed out after I spoke with the manager of this branch.
Hi, my apologies for the puzzling previous 1 star review, this has happened to me a few times now. I have now fixed this and given the 5 stars truly deserved! Many thanks for the excellent service provided over the years and i look forward to many more years trading together. Highly recommend Howdens for their knowledge and efforts in helping us when ever they can. Thanks again.
fantastic. .. the units are quality and all the goods range cooker dishwasher microwave and washing machine all five star .. Richard came and designed a kitchen for us ... our old kitchen was 20 years and in desperate need of modernisation we got what we asked for and more have recommended howdens kitchens already had friends of ours getting quotes ... you get a lot of kitchen for your money highly recommend
Been using Howdens Stourbridge for over 10 years. No issues with anything purchased from there. Great staff there who always go the extra mile to get everything sorted.
Their pre-purchase service is very good, but be careful. They may ask you to pay for the kitchen, but then leave other items ie flooring on a separate quote to be paid for at a later date without explicitly telling you this is happening. Be vigilant and just make sure you know exactly what you're paying for. In this instance it was flooring, and noone even told me I hadn't paid for the floor so I only found out when my kitchen was half installed and it has created a few issues.
Great pre-sales experience with Adele but really disappointed with follow-up experience. We were held hostage by the storage firm who refused to release our kitchen until we paid a fee. The fitters quote missed out several add-ons that weren't included when Adele got the quote on our behalf. Including the cost of a skip and an electrician, which left us with an unconnected cooker - our problem it seems. Complete lack of pricing transparency. Several phone calls later we still haven't heard back from Adele with clarity about the quote, which is rude and disappointing.
