Best coffee in Shrewsbury, and that’s saying something! Light and airy cafe with good cookies, pleasant sandwiches with excellent salads. We previously had great sourdough here but the toasty didn’t have the lovely bread that we expected. Maybe we had ‘toast’ before and a ‘toasty’ this time and they use different bread?
I enjoyed the blackcurrant pop tea and my husband liked the marzipan dark cherry cake. Will definitely drop in again when we next visit Shrewsbury.

Great place to drop in on after some exercise on the river or beside the river. Earn your reward here. Good service even when busy and some healthy snacks if you need them. Then there is always coffee and cake!
