My experience at the GP has been great apart from if I speak to the receptionist Tim. He’s rude. His attitude stinks and he has no awareness on how to speak to patients. I’m speaking from being a previous receptionist at a Gp surgery and a reception manager at a Gp surgery. Absolutely shocking that he thinks he can speak to people the way he does. He needs to be taken off speaking to patients and in the back hidden or something because he’s the rudest person I’ve ever come across
The worst GP I have ever interacted with. The staff at reception are incredibly rude, impatient, unkind and unprofessional. The system of booking an appointment is absolutely ridiculous. They provide no provisions for people with a language barrier, and their support for those struggling with mental health is atrocious. The GPs themselves are awful and they have no people-skills whatsoever.
About a month and a half ago, I left this surgery after being with them for around ten months. I have a few grievances to raise, and will list them directly.nn- Dr. Jimni should have her medical license reviewed and take some lessons in empathy.n- I never once felt that the care she provided met the standard displayed on your practice’s certificate.n- She prescribed me the most commonly prescribed GI medication for what has now been identified as potential ovarian cysts. She never took the time to investigate the cause of my pain or consider that all the older women in my family suffer from fibroids.n- On another occasion, when I consulted a different doctor while Dr. Jimni was away, he advised brisk walks outside—for migraines and body pains? Then he proceeded to double my SSRI dose. My current GP is now investigating me for potential autoimmune disorders. Do you see my concern here?n- My partner, who now has bronchial issues, booked and rearranged four appointments but was never seen for his initial consultation through no fault of his own.n- I was asked to pay £35 for a letter stating my condition, whereas my current GP provided it for free.n- Overall, I felt completely dismissed and spent over three-quarters of a year dealing with one terrible doctor. Unsurprisingly, the reception staff were just as unhelpful.
This clinic is useless. I honestly wonder if anyone is actually working there. From my first visit, I felt unwelcome, as if I was wasting their time and being a nuisance. When I tried to make an appointment, they scolded me for not calling at the specific time they demanded. When I did call at the specified time, I was 27th in line. I waited for half an hour only to be told that even though it was an emergency, they had no available slots and that I should call again tomorrow... Seriously? The same thing would likely happen tomorrow. My advice to you: avoid this clinic. It's the worst NHS medical experience I've had so far.
I can't fault the doctors at all, one doctor from the surgery saved my babies life. I have always been seen and referred without any issues . It is not the Doctors fault there are not enough appointments. They try there best in a difficult situation .
