Houghton Country is a leading equestrian and country store just ten minutes from Newcastle in the Tyne Valley. Our large store covers everything for the horse including a huge range of rugs, supplements, saddlery, feed etc, and everything for the rider from riding hats to breeches, gloves to hairnets. Our store also sells a great range of country clothing and footwear including leading brands Joules, Dubarry, Hunter etc. We also sell online and pride ourselves in our fast delivery and great service.

I called in here last Sunday. Its a lovely place with plenty of parking. The store is great and the owner couldn't have been nicer and even gave me directions to a local B&B. I would recommend calling in whenever you are passing. There is a clear notice on the wall facing the main road 'Houghton Country Strore' and the gate is left open - its a bit of a dangerous turning so best to drive straight in.
