I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Football and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest staff who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They were always available to answer any questions and assist with any requests, no matter how big or small. My room was immaculate and offered breathtaking views of the iconic Old Trafford stadium. Waking up to such a magnificent sight each morning was truly a dream come true for any football fan. The breakfast spread was phenomenal. There was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, ensuring a perfect start to each day. Overall, my experience at Hotel Football was exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, stunning views of Old Trafford, impeccable cleanliness, and delectable breakfast made it a truly memorable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in Manchester, especially for those who love the beautiful game.
We stayed here for my partners 30th birthday - from the moment we walked in we were very happy. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly , the hotel was so clean and comfortable! We were so impressed with our stay here. It was perfect for what we look for in a hotel. Thank you so much HF for making our trip so memorable.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely hotel in a brilliant location for the football ground. The view from the hotel window was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. Everywhere in the hotel is spotless and clean. The bed was massive and comfortable. I loved breakfast which had a fantastic selection on offer. Service was quick and well run. Many thanks for a lovely stay. Rooms: Rooms are spacious and has a comfy bed. The view from the window was brilliant. The shower was great . Nice touches of retro sweets , crisps and pop in the fridge which are complementary. Nearby activities: The Old Trafford football ground is right next door .This has a museum and tour with a mega store. Other activities near are the Lowery museum and Salford Ques .There is a small shopping complex with home bargains and Mand S around the corner.
Pricey but I think most of Manchester is. Room was great as were the staff, being right next to Old Trafford was amazing you literally couldn't be closer!. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't try it, but the room was clean & well kept and the mini bar with free sweets in was a nice friendly touch.Rooms: 5/5
I'm not a Manchester United fan. I stayed here because it was convenient for the Trafford centre. Not a match day, so quiet and well priced. Excellent breakfast. Very nice bar. Rooms decent. The reception and foyer area is drab in comparison to the rest of the place and feels like a Travel Lodge. Definitely think the rest of it is so much better.
Great hotel right next to old Trafford. The roof top pitch had a great view of the stadium. Not much food close by. 5 minute walk to train station went downtown. Great restaurant and bar area, got to watch Euros semi-final.Rooms: 5/5
You pay for the view of the ground. Bucket list for United fans, apart from that it was pretty much average. Shower was good. Mini bar full of sugary sweets? Won't go again as now done it, could stay in a very good hotel in town for £250 / night. Cafe looked a bit tired, reminded me of motorway services !!!Rooms: 4/5
As a United fan it was a lovely experience, the room was nice and clean. The hotel staff were friendly. I was gutted I missed Gary Neville turning up to his hotel for breakfast! One suggestion would be to let people know that the contents in the mini bar, in the room, are complimentary as this was a nice gesture but we didn't know about this until we checked out. We were waiting to be charged for one item we took from the mini bar then be told it was complimentary.
Really good place, I plan to visit again. The view from the room was on Manchester United Stadium, room is clean, a caffe is cool and the food was tasty. A touch of complimentary sweets in mini bar is cute. Tram station is 2min walk, the area around the hotel is nice. They hosted our event and we felt welcomed. Thanks again.Hotel highlightsGreat view, Great value
Brilliant just a brilliant hotel. The staff are fantastic delivers you a totally different stress free match day experience. And they go over and above for kids, 10 out of 10 from us. Rooms: Rooms are fantastic and clean, Food & drinks: Fantastic
