First time ordering. I will order again. I ordered before reading the reviews. I think people take reviewing to seriously and think they are a critic but the food was lovely, nice flavour, was not burnt at all the curry sauce was delicious. They delivered the food in the time frame they said. All round wonderful. Thank you for the delicious food.
No option for zero stars so had to give one. We genuinely didn't eat our order due to being inedible. Soggy chips, watery sauces, no flavour, should of been soggy duck on the menu not crispy! The list goes on. I have genuinely never wrote a review before but I have never been so disappointed before either. Lesson learnt, will read reviews before ordering.

This place made my school career tolerable. For that it is a 5 star. I can’t wait for this place to feature in Kitchen Nightmares where we get to see on television just how awful the place is. I heard that this place will give you 7 types of exotic diarrhoea so heads up on that place.
Probably the best Chinese I have had in Sudbury. Delivered hot and on time. The caramelized chicken was superb, the mixed seafood also excellent. All food well presented. Thoroughly recommended.
Best Chinese I’ve had in years! For all of the battered items, they took a small cut out of the plastic lids, so they didn’t get soggy. The smoked caramelised chicken was a particularly nice dish and the salt n pepper prawns were banging!
After a not so good experience of a take away, I am happy to say I received a call acknowledging my upset which was nice to receive and dealt with very professionally. I have recently had another take away as I believe in 2nd chances and am happy to say it was one of the nicest takeaways I can remember. It was very fast delivery, all cooked beautifully and went above expectations. I will definitely be using again thank you Hot wok for restoring my faith and having a good take away I know will deliver to me!!
Placed order over phone was told 20 minutes which was great considering the large order placed. Obviously the girl on the other end of the phone don't know what she is doing or can't read as she don't know the difference between plain and chicken! Called up to say all the chow mein orders was incorrect and the 'Don't care" attitude from the man I spoke to was absolutely disgusting! Needless to say that will be the last £100 + order they will be getting from me. Oh and food was average should have gone to my usual takeaway instead of giving hot wok another go........never again!
I have always ordered from here but the last couple of times I have telephoned to place an order I have found the same person really rude! I shall not be placing any further orders from here ever! To be honest the food has been pretty sub standard as well ! Lucky I've given them one star.
If you are unable to deliver in the stated timescale, please do not lie to people. I ordered a meal an hour and a half ago and was told it could be an hour but, having phoned again, I a, now told you are just waiting on a couple of items to be cooked! Just tell the truth - I would have gone somewhere else if you were too busy. You are not doing yourselves any favours. I don't know what has changed as we have used you many times before but I find myself agreeing with your recent reviews - not good send I will try an alternative. Shame, you started well but in a small town bad news travels fast!
