I've been here 5 times as an outpatient for various tests and each time I was treated with respect and kindness.
A terrible, terrible hospital full of don't give a stuff attitude & anti English prejudice. I was told whilst a patient on ward 'this is Welsh hospital, I'm a Welsh nurse, I treat the Welsh first!' thank you Johnny for that, fortunately I recorded on my mobile. You have to fight for the correct medication, it's cold and very uncaring.
American with an embedded tick and history of Lyme Disease arrived at the ER Minor Injuries clinic. After a brief wait, Caitlin took my info, assessed the situation, offered 2 treatment options, then promptly and painlessly extracted the tick, which had burrowed beneath the skin. She provided antibiotics to stave off infection, and politely sent me on my way in minutes. Amazing service and treatment in a clean and pleasant environment. I’m absolutely floored; the U.K. is so much more civilized than the US. Thank you.
If you have to go to hospital, this NHS cottage hospital is a real gem. The staff are lovely and it is just such a nice place to visit. It is close to the bus stop and there is a big free car park, with disabled spaces close to the main entrance. The dentistry department is excellent.
Could not believe this organisation today, whilst I’m a visitor to the area I did take a local resident to what we were hoping was going to be a consultation with the doctor on call with a view to a possible outcome of a X-ray if required. As instructed we arrived at 10am only to find that the Dr that should be available had disappeared to his local surgery! The nurses on site were particularly caring and deserve the utmost praise for their persistence, however the Dr refused to attend the hospital even though he should have been available, his caring outcome was, come back tomorrow ! Good luck locals and holiday makers ! 29th May 2019
Had to go to the hospital Sat morning suffering with abscess to mouth. Saw a brilliant nurse, was really helpful and polite. Thank you very much for your help.
Its a small hospital with a small A&E dept for minor injuries, but the staff was pleaset and helpful when i took my little one in last week.
