Amazing caring staff in resus and the stroke ward. So kind and professional, I can't thank them enough.nJust on arrival I was a little confused and somewhat angry, as to why I was refused entry at A&E. When my father had just arrived in an ambulance and I needed to be with him. I was simply turned away with 'Sorry no visitors'! However I sought help from another member of staff and eventually was reunited with my father in resus much to his relief.nOtherwise a very positive experience and it reinforced my belief that the nursing profession, just don't get pay enough for their extraordinary work and commitment.
Parking is easy with plenty of space in car park B. Entry and exit have now been made into one way system with compulsory hang washing upon arrival. Not very busy on a weekday and we got our ultrasound scan done as soon as we arrived. In and out within a bit more than an hour, which was fast and pleasant. The staffs, nurses and doctors were nice and helpful too.
I broke my ankle and was looked after very well, A&E was quick and efficient. The wards are also well organised and it is a nice environment if you have to stay. All the nurses are very lovely and anyone I know who has been cared for here has no complaints! Best hospital around! Anyone worried about going due to the pandemic, the hospital is completely divided and you will be safe; if you need help, get it here!
Great hospital, friendly staff and fantastic clinical service. Car park is a bit small for the size of the site and queues can form. Plan ahead and leave plenty of time to find parking
Shoutout to Graham the one legged gargoyle, absolute steller fella and if your lucky enough to see the hospital gowned cloud of smoke. Say hi he's been stuck in there five weeks and he only went in because he had a cold!
