Hospital is several decades overdue an overhaul.nn7 hours in A&E as category red patient before being told to walk to other side of hospital site to another department, with no paperwork. The critical decision making doctor could have referred us when we were seen 2 hours after arrival.nnI can only describe the A&E experience as absolute overwhelmed disorganised pandemoniac chaos.nnNothing was given to relieve any symptoms during the 7 hours in A&E.nnTheir main treatment appears to be saline drips administered in the waiting room.nnThe two porters I met stank of alcohol.nnA&E department is approximately a tenth of the size it should be.nnBe warned, they let ‘people in severe crisis’ walk around A&E freely which can be extremely traumatising to other patients. When we left after 7 hours the mental health team still hadn’t been to assess the patient who was causing havoc and scaring those undergoing treatment.nnThe staff lost someone at 8am and finally reported them as missing person to police at 2pm.nnLoose, used syringes left on top of brochure stand in ward waiting rooms.nnIf you are truly in medical emergency, I very much doubt you would have a positive outcome at this hospital.
I was in the orthopedics and fractures department, Dr. ARORA is a fantastic man, I wish there were more like him. There was also a nurse, I don't know her name, but she told me she was from BRAZIL. She is cordial. And I send her my warmest regards.nDoctor ARORA and ABIDIN are great doctors thanks to them I can run they freed me from pain thank you you are great
Yesterday I stay 5 hours to wait to came a doctor to see my and nobody came I go home with pain am. Pregnant in 4 weeks I go there to see if I have a normal pregnancy or maybe is because they say is will possible to be etopic
Birthing Partner Waiting / Changing Room.nnIt’s the size of a phone box, its designed to increase anxiety and goodness help you if someone else is in!!nnThese pictures will make those that have used it hyperventilate BUT it’s a memorable place for an amazing time in peoples life.
Honestly been a horrible experience for both me and my partner throughout the pregnancy. They don’t know what they’re talking about it’s always “we don’t know, bye” got referred to Jessops and omg what a difference! Brilliant staff in Sheffield that make you feel like a human being unlike Doncaster where they are disrespectful, mock you to their mates, old equipment and don’t even know how to take measurements properly. I would advise people to go bassetlaw or Jessop.
