Good food, nothing too much trouble - & considering the kitchen had only been refurbed 4 days previous the service was fantastic. Would recommend.

Disappointing.stay. After being told breakfast would be provided between 7.30 am and 8.30 we arrived from the annex to find the pub locked and no amount of knocking  brought got us our breakfast.  Unfortunately our stay had been payed for in advance and we had to leave early. Will not stay there again.

Nice pub. Just had a really good refit. Clean and fresh. Bit of parking on the side. Plenty of different beers. Defoe worth a visit.

Food excellent, very tasty and great quality, albeit a little pricey. Would recommend.

Enjoyed an evening playing Skittles for a family members birthday. Was a great evening in a comfortable space.

Could be better. Atmosphere is decent but the clientele is less than desirable for the most part
