It needs more for the children, similar to Matlock or Poolsbrook. My grandchildren were fed up after half an hour.
Lovely small park close to Bolsover market place and church. It as a green open area, a children's play area with swings and slide, a sports court and seating spots. It is bounded on one side by an historical ditch, unfortunately a noisy busy road runs across another side.
Nice park for toddlers and older kids with different age related play equipment, the football come basketball court is a hit and covers cover the youngsters and teens, plus there the open grass land, super for frisbees and picnicking. The old bowling area isn't used as the purpose but again its not a bad space for those that want to have a kick about with younger kids on softer ground especially I'd the older ones are on the court.
Shame about this park. Its one of our local parks, but bigger kids take over the play park. At night glass is smashed in the kids play area, it's pretty disgraceful. I've complained to the council who never call back or want to do anything about it.
A beautiful park with excellent playground equipment and plenty of space.
Lovely little park and well cared for. Kids love it and it's a joy to sit and relax on a nice day. Occasionally small fete and other special days when the park is used for the public to come to gather and enjoy. Open for anyone to use and fully recommend to visit during summer holidays.
Nice clean little park be wary of main road it's clean. Handy for residents. Playground: Playground usually ciean.
Play area is tired looking. Could do with a water park like Clifford Park
I love walking my dog Harry around the park it's very well kept and I always love to see young people enjoying themselves playing ball game's or having fun on the climbing frame etc.
Lovely park with equipment for toddlers through to early teens. Would love to score it higher if only it wasn't ruined by the local youth smashing beer bottles all over the place every weekend and school holiday!
