Afternoon out having cocktails and noticed the tapas deal - fantastic value for money and food was incredible! The staff were so friendly and cocktails were great. For a quiet Monday afternoon there was a nice atmosphere with just enough background music to allow good conversation and privacy. Will definitely be back!
Nice spot and very easily accessed by Glider with stops outside. Staff were excellent and attentive. The lunch options are limited which normally means more attention given to dishes they are good at but in our case 2 of the limited dishes were not available despite us being early and very few dinners already there.Unfortunately the fish n chips were far from being my best…in fact the batter was heavy and greasy but it may have been a bad day.
So l wrote a review and an update on this place and l cant find it.l will write another one.Went there twice. 1st time we asked to be seated away from the sun but were told the table we wanted sits more than 2 people.5min later a couple sat at the same table we had asked for.The stafd was not the friendliest.l got chips that l had not asked for..but the plus is there were nice. The steak sandwich on the other hand was horrible..dry bread with thr tiniest steak. Second time we went back coz my partner had gotten a really nice salad and we wanted to try it again.Unfortunately it was not on the meny.Their non alcoholic drinks menu is dismal at best.l got half a glass of warm Pepsil had asked for no ice but thought the drink would be cold,as you can see from the picture the glass was dirty.l had taken 2 sips before l put it away.My steak tasted horrible.the chips and cheese sauce are nice.The waitress who helped us was nice but generally othrr patrons around us got bettee treatment with staff chatting to them and checking on them more. We are definitely not going back as we have clearly been shown we are not their kind of clientele. To say lm disappointed is an understatement.
Went to Horatio todds on Saturday .... excellent food excellent service never waited to long for our starters ... lovely relaxed atmosphere... staff friendly & polite cocktails went down very easy .... food prices good value also ... wee will definitely be back again with our family
Excellent restaurant, relaxing decor with very nice menus. The food is so tasty and is always beautifully presented. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. A really nice dining experience.Food: 5/5

My wife and I booked a 6pm meal on a quiet Tuesday evening. Quickly shown to our table and capably served by Daniel. We each just had main course as we were pushed for time and were able to enjoy a lovely meal and be on our way by 7pm. Thanks to all, we will be back again soon.
Sheldon Galleries hosted our staff Christmas dinner at HT’s last night. The food, wine and cocktails were fantastic and the staff were very polite and professional. The whole evening was fantastic! Thanks to all the staff who made our evening so enjoyable.
Met 2 friends here for Xmas lunch, been before and food pretty reasonable so thought why not. Staff very friendly, not overly busy as you would expect in the afternoon, a 3-4 tables of larger groups in for Xmas dinners otherwise just a few others. We all order turkey dinner, mine without gravy. Dinner arrived a short while later, asked for some cranberry sauce which came quite promptly. However, on taking my first mouthful food, at best, was lukewarm. The only thing piping hot was the roast potato. Friends say theirs wasnt that warm either but gravy helped. Plates werent very warm which I'm sure didn't help. We alerted staff and asked could they heat it up, they took my plate away, different member of staff brought it back with the usual 'be careful plate is hot' warning, was so hot I couldn't touch it to rotate plate round. Food however, whilst slightly warmer certain wasn't heated like the plate. As I cut into the meat my hand touched the plate and I got burnt. Food was edible but I was left disappointed dessert I ordered chocolate torte, which was to come with fresh cream I checked menu as i dont eat ice cream.....none arrived. I didn't bother asking for cream as to be fair I managed without and didn't want waitress to think I was being awkward. Overall, disappointed. Food tasted ok but certainly could have been much warmer, and just small things like providing the advertised cream is attention to detail. Would I recommend, probably. What I would say is don't order the Xmas dinner as it appears to be mass produced therefore quality slips. Order something different from the menu, I had debated tapas wish I had stuck to that plan
Best bar on this side of town. Good for nice selection of beers, wines, cocktails and snacks. Havnt had dinner here yet but looked busy.
