Great Fishery/farm and great people running it, warm welcome, friendly chat and advise about the waters and what works etc.nnThis was our first visit and we wasn't disappointed, 30 plus carp on a day ticket with 2 rods ranging from 1 to 11lb but lake 3 has upto nearly 20lb I believe, not the lake if you want speci fish but a great day, especially if you enjoy surface fishing, traditional bread or dog biscuits and your sorted! Will take my family back for sure.

Super site lots to explore. Beautiful lakes & good facilities for our four legged friends. Very friendly couple run the site great sense of humour, their dog & cat are extremely well behaved. Nothing too much trouble. We will return. Spacious shower cubicles, albeit only two. Maintained to a high standard of hygiene. Highly recommend this fabulous site.

We met father Christmas with the kids of course and it was fantastic. An easy 5 out of 5 we will be back every year! Thanks again for a really special morning.

The Cartlodge is the perfect place to hold your birthday party or event. Staff are friendly, helpful and hire rates reasonable. Highly recommended.
