I ordered 75 Beech Green Potted hedging some 4-5ft and 5-6ft. They all looked healthy when they arrived and were delivered on time. Though some of the pots had weeds which needed removal. Three weeks post planting they are thriving and looking very well. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend Hopes Grove Nurseries.
Very disappointed, very poor quality Escallonia plants, diseased leaves and bare branches. Twice emailed the nursery with photos asking for replacement plants but absolutely no response. Red Robin plants healthy and a good size. Will not use again.
Ordered 20 red robins 5 days ago, I received an email that said they would be ready for despatch in 7-10 days, I received them today, 5 days after ordering, fabulous. The boxes are very dented, but it looks as thoughnthe plants have survived the journey. They look really healthy with good leaf colour. Edit *4 months after planting, the bushes have survived and are growing well. Photo one shows good height, 2nd photo shows width growth with laurels.
Ordered hedging plants stated on website severn day delivery for bare root plants.nTwo weeks nothing arrived. I emailed an asked where my order was. I was told it would be last quarter of the month.nOne week latter order was cancelled without any communication.nA courtesy phone call would have been nice.
I bought some potted beech hedging from this company last year. All of the plants arrived in a half dead state. I persevered with planting them and watering/feeding them regularly as I know they can go in a dormant state over the winter but almost half the plants never produced any leaves and did not come back to life in the Spring. I would not recommend this company, they were very unhelpful and would not assist when I reported the issue after giving the plants time to try and come back to life, they stated as I had not sent an email at the time of delivery they would not assist, despite still having photographic evidence of their condition at the time of delivery when reporting. Customer service and quality of plants very poor.
