Lovely cafe with very nice staff but the reason I didn't add the fifth star is based on the issue with opening/closing times, for instance the Friday before last I was told by a member of staff that the closing time for the cafe on Fridays was 4pm, however, I walked through the doors yesterday which was Friday at 3:20pm and was told the cafe had already closed. Now this isn't a big issue in isolation but the fact that this has happened to me several times tells me that staff members either don't know the closing time of the cafe or worse, they're closing the cafe before they're supposed to .
Friendly customer service and great breakfast. Service was pretty efficient too.
Really good mocha latte. Big yummy scones. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Also has 4 alternative milk options.
Staff are lovely , food is very expensive for portion and often bland. Not much on menu, not much change. Comfortable and clean. Food here is horrendous. Cold pasta meals have been inedible. Hot food isn't good either, really bland and overpriced. Few vegan meal options or even vegan butter. Scones, tray bakes and coffee are great. Cant they change the menu, it's so disappointing!
Staff pleasant and nice enough setti attached to the Queens library. Just had coffee and some soup. Tasted lovely but could have been warmer. The Car park outside is private most of the tie and cannot be accessed. Students were not back therefore place was quiet.
Strange one. The wife loved this place and recommended it. So we popped in after visiting Dippy. Initially the service was happy and efficient. We ordered 2 sausage rolls, a side of wedges and a bagel & beans for the wee man. Drinks came with the son's order and the side of wedges. 20minutes later. No sausage rolls. So we went to talk about it. The girl couldn't apologise enough and gave it to us on the house. So, I'm not sure if I'll go back or not. But the girl saved it from being a definite no to returning.
badly trained staff, not even with a supervisor they can work well, the tables are always dirty and the student-staff cannot have less interest. Its unfortunate that there is the monopoly of Queens Library, I have been going there for years and its just getting worse. Don't waste your money if you can avoid it, my only sin is to study in the library.....
Friendly coffee shop, conveniently placed in Queens Library which has it's own break area. The shop itself is a good size if you want a sit down there's usually seats, often busy especially peak library times, as you can imagine.
Arrived just before a group, the waiter welcomed us and handed us to an other waitress who started to serve the whole group, totally ignoring us... We left after a few minutes without interest from any of them.
Clean and easy to useFood: 5/5
