I started the great sport of fishing 4 years ago, for the first year i was hopeless. Then i visited Sandy's shop Hooked on Fishing. He talked me through catching my first fish and showed me the rigs and baits i should be using. Most of all he kept it simple. Now I am catching 100 - 200 fish a summer season, and have moved on to winter fishing for giant cod and ling. At hooked on fishing their is a great service and care taken in selecting stock with definitely one of the best selections of rods and reals to suit all at fair price economy or high end.

Many years ago I discovered Sandy Marshall's shop in Renfrew and have been going back ever since, if he hasn't got it he will get it for you, although it is a small shop it's amazing how much stock is in it. I mentioned my Grandson might be interested in fishing, next day, he had him in the park teaching him how to cast, so beware, if you take the kids into the shop ,he is likely to kidnap them, and that's them hooked. I think that's why he called the shop " Hooked on Fishing ". There is a good reason why so many of his customer's keep going back, it's called " satisfaction " and he makes a no bad cup of tea as well.
