Hoo Hing is a wonderful Chinese Supermarket, you will find all the popular products and fresh ingredients/produce you need. The staff are very friendly, offering their assistance during your shop. I have visited this specific store several times, and I love the quality and their frequent deliveries. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
A hidden cash and carry type shop embedded within a commercial warehouse style estate. Lots of variety of items that you would need for East Asian cooking as well as south east asian cooking too. I went in there for dumpling wrappers and came out with loads of items, will be going back for more.
A lot of cars have been broken into while parked in their parking so becarefull and make sure you take precautions when leaving your cars to go and do your shop.
Great place for Chinese and other oriental food products. I make a trip here every few weeks. The road leading to the car park could do with some improvement as there are lots of potholes but the store itself is fantastic. Plenty of parking and staff are great, too. Lots of fresh veggies available, as well as frozen goods and packeted noodles, sauces, savouries, and spices.
Great to place to pick up your Chinese groceries. From fresh fish, meat, vegetables, and just about anything else you may need. This company supplies Chinese supermarkets and restaurants around the country so always well stocked and plenty of choice. Friendly staff who are pleased to help.
Hoo hing was here for so many years as I can remember , it has so much to offer. The location is very easy to get to by car but might not be so convenient by public transport. The warehouse is very big and easy to walk around and easy to find what you need. They have a range of food offered with reasonable price however some items you may find are little more expensive. Rice, noodle,tofu, dim sums, meat,seafood and frozen s, you can find most any oriental food or ingredients to make delicious Chinese food. I often stopped by to get some snacks for kids like crackers or drinks, in the end I spend so much extra. I have to admit it is not the least economic supermarket because you can most likely get lot more in mainstream supermarket than here, but I guess it is quite similar in any other oriental supermarket. It is also supplying for takeaways and restaurants which is their main business. The staffs are generally friendly however on some occasions they are confused of where the stock is. They also provide free local delivery over certain amount but I often find it easier to just come to the store. Overall I like it quite much still, highly recommended.
Fabulous selection of products. I buy my soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sweet chilli sauce and other Chinese and japanese items as a large bottle is so much better value than the small ones you get at the supermarkets. Also buy whole boneless ducks, 800g bags of raw prawns, pak choi, noodles... I could go on.
Always ok ,good prices,and food stuff you can't get in normal shops
Don't expect sainsburys or tesco levels of organisation. You are shopping from a warehouse. If you accept that, then I don't see any issues. There is a very good choice of produce, well stocked and at a good price. The staff are as helpful as they can be but none of them stand idle so I expect they are very busy. Looking forward to my next visit when I can find some petrol.
