The signs for parking were a bit confusing and the food options are quite limited, but everything else was great. The dinos are great, most of the animals were easy to spot, the play area is big and there were plenty of benches available. The kids had a great time, and want to go back already. A great place for the price
I love this place! I'd go 100 times over, the money goes towards the conservation of these beautiful creatures too. Went with my grandma, aunty and child. They also had incredible food in the cafe, had jacket potato beans and cheese was delightful, whilst the child played on the playground. They had a huge bouncy pillow too, both adults and children can enjoy together Go here! You will not regret it.
It was our first time visiting this place with our 5 year old and it won't be the last. There's so much to do here. My daughter loved feeding the animals and the dinosaur area is great fun. This place is amazing, they have kept this zoo tip top. They have put sun factor 50+ in dispensers around the zoo which is a great touch, they have many activities going on through the day. The dinosaurs are in amazing condition considering they're situated outside in the elements and animatronic, a lot better than some of the bigger zoos with similar. We went 2 days on the trot there was so much to do, I will definitely take the kids there again.
Great day out with the kids. They enjoyed feeding the animals and watching the keepers feed the larger animals. The play areas are great for kids and plenty of seating to eat lunch. There is a great mix of well known and less known animals.
Beautiful place! Perfect for children with extremely well kept zoo and dinosaur walks. There is suncream available in dispensers around the ground. Playground is very modern and expensive looking. Would definitely visit again
What a hidden treasure. My only fault is my own - not leaving enough time. Just a fantastic day with so much to do for the kids and me. The dinosaurs are amazing- my two wee ones still think they are real! But the whole experience is fab - so much to do - definitely a whole day's worth if not more. Friendly and kind staff and beautiful animals.
Great day out. We booked the Meerkat, Lemur & Serval experience. All staff from booking the experience to going to the zoo and the experience have been great. Very friendly and helpful. The zoo itself seems well looker after, plenty of bins, water, hand wash, sanitisers and sun cream dotted around. The dinosaur walk was great as well. The kids loved it. High recommend.
Tips:Do wear sensible shoes as the ground can be uneven or muddy. Do check to see if you have to book tickets online before arriving. The website will tell you. Now on with the review... Absolutely brilliant. All animals are well looked after and seem happy.They even have different height windows in the enclosures so that adults and children have a perfect view. Each has a personalised board with names of animals, their species and habits.You can hand feed sheep, emus,ostrich and llamas if they come over. Sheep are very,very friendly and don't mind a fuss. Sister in law had a Meet the racoon experience. Keeper was funny,knowledgeable and really good with the animals. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They have friendly domestic cats who wander around freely as well as local wildlife who inhabit the zoo.Lots of animals to see.You won't be disappointed.
Took my 2 young boys and they absolutely loved it, you can see some cool animals and the dinosaur walkthrough. We enjoyed the dinosaurs the most, my kids were so impressed we had to go round again. Great day out Parking: There is parking bays at the entrance, street parking just outside on grass verge and an overflow parking area
