A great wee cafe for tea/coffee and cake, and there's lots of tables outside by the pond so a definite winner if the weather is nice out. It does seem to get quite busy but the service was still quick and friendly. They do a mix of sandwiches and cakes there's a sample menu online, but recommend you don't skip on the toasted scones!
A very pretty and relaxing place. Loved my passion fruit and mango frappe. Dietary restrictions: The offer gluten free and vegan options.
Beautiful location. Lovely house that is a museum. The tea was lovely. Large pot of tea was enough for 3 cups each. The chocolate caramel cake delicious andwas huge enough to feed the two of us. Nice polite staff.
Definitely the best cafe experience I’ve had so far in Carshalton a must visit if you’re in the area. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive providing very quick service having my order ready in no time! Overlooking a small pond the view is picturesque creating a delightful atmosphere with friendly ducks swimming by that you can feed making for a lovely afternoon out for families. Their ice creams and iced coffee are absolutely delicious and the perfect refreshers for a hot summer day as well as a selection of other tasty snacks including toasted paninis and a variety of cakes to choose from. Very reasonably priced too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 100% recommend and will definitely be coming again.
Have spent few hours this morning, had a Sunday coffee by the pond. Very nice and quiet sitting area, staff is lovely and coffee was lovely. There were few tables inside but we sat outside and have a view of ducks in the pond, Church, park across the road and passing by traffic. I would suggest to visit on the weekend morning and enjoy some quality time there...... P.s. on Sunday the parking was free on the road leading to the meusem and tea room. Coffee
Lovely cup of earl grey and shortbread biscuits. A delightful setting too with tables overlooking the lake and the traffic muted by distance.
Well Managed all the time, service is great but does get busy because it’s so popular. Food is very good, cakes a speciality. Will be back regularly very relaxing and welcoming always.
Lovely place to visit. Friendly and prices not to expensive. Although they were busy did not have to wait. Cake and cream tea are amazing.
Excellent toasted sarnies, coffee and tea. Also does jacket spuds, panini, pastries etc and some wonderful looking cakes. Attentive, polite staff. Not the quickest preparation I've encountered and a little pricey I imagine it goes to the upkeep. Nice outlook and you eat outside overlooking the pond.
Had a very nice cream tea, which was a surprise as the last one wasn't so good last year. A very nice young man served us. Will make another trip before winter.
