First of all let me say that the kids loved it. That's the most important thing. There is lots to do for them here, the tractor ride, mini train ride, go carts, mini golf, play houses, animals, great park. The annoying downside is that some of these attractions you must pay extra for! I absolutely detest this sort of thing. Just bundle it in to the entrance price. Bump it up to £7 entry from £5, then offer everything to everyone. While talking about pricing remove the charge for under 2's. Anyway. The place is great the animals all seem healthy and well cared for. Really fun to have the the chickens roaming the farm. The whole place this is easy to say could do with some investment to update it all. A simple attraction to add would be a maze along the river trail or where the train turns on itself. Will we visit again. For sure we will.
Had a lovely picknick in the fresh air. It was a great day out for both children and adults. There were plenty of animals to interact with. The baby ones were especially nice. The place did not feel cramped and was very spacious. Will be back when my granddaughter is a little bigger.
Great day out for all the family. They have a variety of different things to do from train and tractor rides to feeding and holding animals. To top it off there is soft play, huge play area, water jets and massive trampoline!
Great place to go with the family, has an excellent range of facilities and activities. Our 4 year old loved the play areas, the river dipping, train and tractor rides, ghost rooms and many other things. Honeybrook also seem to be further investing and developing their offering with the train rides and blacksmith workshop. Well worth the price because you can easily spend most of the day there.
Rustic children's playpark/petting farm. Good for 3-8 year olds, seniors can walk through the water meadows for 20 minute round trip, careful of big steps onto the bridges.
I think the idea of the farm is great, I just think that for the price you pay to get in doesn't reflect what is available at the farm, the go karts are mostly broken the animals are shut away and everything is in need of repair, however I have been several times and they do seem to adapt and change things, just slowly! I will be going back
A couple of years ago it was a great place to take the family. Now it's run down, dangerous and a complete rip off. There are a few animals scattered about, no train ride as advertised, no tractor rides. The play parks are tired and not safe. There used to be a nice Cafe, not now. I wouldn't take my kids back there if you paid me now.
Amazing value, £5 each which over Easter included making slime, a photo shoot with print and a goody bag with sweets and toys! Really pretty river walks, kids really loved the bouncy pillow - like a huge trampoline. Small but nice selection of animals. Everything apart from train/tractor rides free. Bit tired in places, but overall we enjoyed it much more than farmer palmers. Had to drag the kids away after 5 hours.
I'd have to critique this farm from a children's view as they seem to love it. Very large open land with lots of things for children to do running off steam and getting dirty. Large play park and picnic area with go carts and crazy golf. Small indoor soft play area. From an adults view this has sort of seen its day. Very poor selection of animals that are at least in clean enclosures. Dirty facilities and a pond that looks like nothing much more than green sludge. Large restaurant serving hot food as well as sandwiches and coffee. Nothing educational at all.. Free parking though that's a bonus.
Fantastic value for money, one of the best farms we've been to. All the staff are so friendly and happy to have a chat, as it was very quiet raining we were able to help feed the animals. We had a great time splashing in puddles and looking at all the animals we didn't even have to go to the indoor softplay as there was so much to do. Will 100% be going back
