Wendover Caffe/Honeycrust bakery this place is practically a piece of Bedford's recent history. I lived abroad for almost 5 years and came back and they still remembered me, asking where I have been and how my family is.  It's the ultimate breakfast place although their other food is also delicious but I always have a full English breakfast when I go here.  It can't be beaten on price and if you just want a good, old-fashioned fashioned fry up with a cuppa, this is the place to go.

Fab little cafe, with an excellent breakfast menu. Tables are thoroughly cleaned between customers. Tea is strong and hot and there's plenty of delicious looking fresh bread and Italian food to take awayFood: 5/5

Proper greasy spoon cafe, however food is definitely not greasy. Good variety of food, including a good selection of homemade items inc lasagne and pastries. Eat in is a tad cramped but worth the squeeze.Food: 5/5

Great breakfast, all sorts of brekky available here, from English to continental, also fresh coffee's..  Parking: Lay-by&#39;s all around, and easy street parking.

Found this place after a delivery,as I was due a tacho break. What a great experience. Just like walking in a café abroad. Fresh bread,home cooked food and pastries. The staff were excellent to say that they were going to be closing. Still fed me and I enjoyed sitting outside and eating my lunch in the sun.
