I went into the Washington branch to ask about conservatory roof blinds. The assistant had trouble finding the right page in the book. Another lady came out from the back, and between both of them they told me I had to tell them the VERTICAL window sizes of the room! I told them that this is not a conservatory, but just a roof window which I'd like a roof blind for. I was given a rough price per windowpane I gave a size of one of the 3 panes 2'6" x 3' 11" and was given a price of over £1,600 per pane (So that would be over £4, 800 for roof window of 97" x 47". When I said I was shocked at the price they told me to ring head office as they didn't know about conservatory roof blinds. I am on up to 25 minutes on hold while I type this, trying to get through to head office.....

Ordered bathroom blind, came with wrong colour braid rang and told them so they took blind back and returned a WEEK later with same colour on saying that was colour i ordered, it was totally different to the sample book. No other colour matched my new bathroom so i rang and asked if they would put braid on i had bought myself which i was told no they wouldnt, i tried to remove braid myself buying glue remover and glue gun to put new braid on, i didnt dare do it incase i ruined blind so emailed complaining and was told to get blind to seaham 25 mins away in car and they would put braid on. I had to pay for a lift as i dont drive and a 90 pound blind ended up costing me an extra 50 pound to get it how it was supposed to be from the start .i will never use this firm again.

Just had blinds fitted from Homefair. Can't praise them enough. The service was exclelent from start to finish and I'll definitely be using them again. Don't hesitate to use them.

I went to the seaham branch where the woman couldn't answer any of my questions, I then got a guy out to my house to measure up and I went to the sunderland store to pick blinds except the guy hadn't handed my paperwork in so I couldn't pick my blinds! I had a look through the choice of blinds anyway which I must say were rubbish, I wanted a plain grey blind for my loft window which they couldn't do! Complete time wasters and I wouldn't rate the choice of blinds either, very old fashioned and limited colours and styles!!!
