We spent best part of £2000 on blinds for our new home. Two of the blinds - long ones on sun-room doors - were too short, showing the metal of the rollers and the labels thereon. Preferring a peaceful life, we lived with it, until comments from visitors began to multiply. We then politely asked in-store if someone could come out to inspect. The store assistant rang someone, who apparently asked "why have waited till now". Maybe not the best form of customer service we've ever met. Further down the line, we built a kitchen extension which caused the removal of the kitchen blind. I rang after completion to ask if they could send someone out to refit the blind in its new location. To my amazement, they flatly refused, saying "Sorry, we only re-visit if there's a fault". In summary, the customer-facing staff are all very nice and helpful, but the after-sales service from those hidden behind telephones stinks. Be aware: there are lots of blind companies out there whose service must beat this.
