A barren place where you could hear a pin drop! Loads of stock and it’s well laid out but the place is deserted and you can hardly find any staff. You need to go through a maze to get out! They have some nice plants in the outside area and the shop is easy to reach, but many of their items are poor quality. Unless you’re really desperate for the things they sell, I’d recommend going elsewhere.
Perfect store for houseplants and DIY projects. Great location with spacious outdoor parking area. There is a garden at the back of the store and you can find many different types of products in there. Great prices for multi buys.
Got some great cons - lots of space, so can walk easily in isles. Lots of signs so it's easy to navigate and find what your looking for. The team are friendly and helpful. It needs a refurb - it looks dated and tired. Things like there are no displays of the tiles on offer, you just have to search through the piles to see designs and colours available.
We came here just to buy a plastic plant pot and left with new plants and other ceramic pots. Homebase is massive and pretty cool to get anything you need for the house, from gardening to painting, decorating, flooring or storage. Prices are also really good.
Staff are normally very helpful and friendly. However today there was a rude of member of staff I’m guessing new. For the first time was put off using this store. Terrible attitude. Customer service and a smile goes along way!
Unbelievably bad. Waited in the queue, one person in front, many behind. After 10 mins. of no one serving, i kicked up a fuss until someone finally decided to serve the customers. It's no wonder this company is going down the pan. You couldn't make it up. See pics. Today....over 20 people waiting, see pic. how are they still in business?
Plants section is the best part of this store hardware and the like is lightweight homeowner type things which I guess you would expect but beware if you buy something there are a lot of thieves around most of the packages have been opened so check everything you buy in is still in the bag also ensure they clip your parking ticket otherwise you have to pay to depart which never seems fair.
I went to get some paint from Homebase Finchley Road. Young lady called Margret served me. I write to appreciate the outstanding service from Margret. Margret is not only very good in her product knowledge, but also kind and cosiderate. She has a lot of patience and made sure I was 100% happy with the paint I bought by testing and retesting to get the exact paint I wanted. Margret made my day by being extremly nice and professional. I would also like to say thank you to the young lady at the cash desk, who gave wonderful service with a beautiful smile. Nizar Fazal, London
Just popped over to get some decorating materials Quite a large selection of DIY and their paint section is quite good Car parking free for up to one hour get your parking ticket stamped over at the supermarket if you need 2 hours Store has just re opened for the pandemic easing measures not many staff on but they are extremely helpful and they have instigated good social distancing measures
Number one for houseplants in the local area. Beautiful plants. Did I mention the outdoor plants. Best in the local area & at great prices and multi buys
