I recently had my bathroom done and I was amazed how Dansan have utilised the space. The guys have done a fantastic job and I was really happy with new bathroom.
A revamp of the kitchen department late last year encouraged us to consider buying a new kitchen with appliances from the store. Out of three stores' designs and costings, Homebase came out on top for us and we were so pleased with the result. We dealt with Jan and Dansan, both very helpful and friendly and dealt with our queries quickly and we weren't hurried into going ahead with their proposal until we were certain what we were getting. We've had the kitchen for a month now and are really very pleased with it. We will be recommending this branch of Homebase to anyone considering buying a kitchen.nnOh, and the garden section is good too, having bought our summer bedding from this store for several years running.nnThe professionalism of the kitchen project has elevated this branch to our first choice for home and garden products.
Just a heads-up ‍: make sure you don't leave your car longer than 2 hours, as I got a parking fine of £100 to learn this lesson ! for only few min over 2 hours.nnWasn't aware there is a time limit and had a browse around.nnEven if I would return what I spent that day it wouldn't cover fine, even reduced...nnSo disappointed I went there when I actually wanted to go to the one in Castlepoint ...
We have had kitchen designed and purchased from Homebase. Please do not use installers recommended by Homebase. We had a bad experience with unreliable contractor who was extremely expensive.nWe decided to find our own fitter and it was the best option.nWe used the worktop fitter recommended by Homebase and this guy was brilliant. Unfortunately our cupboard was damaged during a fitting. Homebase promised to replace it but since November wr have not heard from them. I FOUND IT extremely embarrassing to keep chasing big uk brand for piece of furniture to be replaced. I think 3 stars is fair as nobody cares now. Found it rather shocking.
I placed an order online, said it was out of stock at my chosen store but would be delivered the next day, it said I could track my order on my Homebase account. When I heard nothing the next day I went on my account to check and couldn't find anything to click on to track delivery so I tried phoning the store eight times to be told there too busy phone back later!!Then tried using the online chat which was even worse, got nowhere. Won't be shopping at Homebase again that's for sure, I wouldn't give them even 1 star.
