I regularly use Home Bargains Jarrow to shop for a selection of products. On this occasion I went to purchase Christmas books for children at my school.nThe management were amazing Jonny on this occasion, initially saying that they were unable to offer any discount but personally offered to contribute from their own money to help towards the book! It was such a kind gesture! Always A** star service and amazing staff!nnThank you for being amazing and such an asset to our community!
Great prices and always something interesting to buy as each season changes eg lovely Christmas gift bags, fun Halloween items, cute Easter home decorations and handy garden bits and bobs in spring and summer.
Should rate this place a 1 as everytime my partner goes in she spends 10 x what she went in there to spend. But always got good deals. Staff friendly. Food inside is decent too
Always well stocked and so decently priced. Staff could be more cheerful and friendly. They always seem to be annoyed that they have customers at their tills or asked for help finding something. That's their job!! The store is always clean and tidy though.
We have now seen the same ugly looking chav in a grey tracksuit, that shop lifts from B&M and One Below, doing the same thing in the Jarrow branch of Home Bargains. He stuffs items down his clothing then approaches you outside aggressively to purchase them from him. Not a safe place to do your shopping.
