This has to be one of the best value shops around. You can take a tenner and buy a bag full of items. Yes, prices have increased but it is still mostly cheaper than the big supermarkets who have far superior buying power but choose not to pass the savings to the end user; US!.
Amazing place, Wish they would stock up on drinks more but really like this shop.
This store is very large and has a vast amount of useful products to buy. They are fridges and freezers so there is options of buying lots of different groceries here at great prices. I often visit here for bargains before i shop in Asda. Sometimes the queues can build up and issues arise with products with no barcode etc, but overall 4 stars I would rate it
Today someone mistakenly took my perfume that i had ordered and they didn’t have anymore in stock but I got very pleased when manager offered me even better perfume in same price and also apologised for mistake which was clearly not their fault. 5 stars for manager Caphill store smethwick
Good service friendly kind. I whent into Home Bargains to buy some light bulbs for my lamp. I asked for some help to find the right one took my bulbs home tryd them perfect fit told the person that helped me and thank him very much for the help excellent service he was so helpful plus he whent out of his way to help me. Thank you home bargains.
Most of the staff are great and helpful but i am appauld with the lady customer service while in the drink area again. First time I thought she having a bad day but twice it a disgrace. I ask her if you had a particular drink in stock that I've had a few times, she told me 'Just have a look or ask someone else' and walked off. Will be going harborne in future.
Customer service is disgusting, Staff are not helpful at all. They don't know how to be charming and need some training, especially the supermarket employee named Lisa She seemed very annoyed when customers just stood there looking at the goods and even raised her voice at customers when there were small children. So the manager at smethwick branch look at this for better service. People customers at your store are spending good with you.
Today I went to CapeHill Home Bargain. I got some stuff and asked them for hand sanitizer because I was advised day before to come back tomorrow, Staff said they don’t have any more left in stock today but when I was waiting to be served in queue I saw one of home bargains staff young lady brought two bottles of hand sanitizer from storage room and give them to someone. That’s totally not fair with other customers whose already their and asked them they doing favours for their family and friends. We don’t expect this kind of service from them.
Lovely staff, always helpful and friendly, if you can't find what you're looking for they'll take you to the right section instead of just pointing and saying "it's over there." A wide selection of products at reasonable prices and always clean & tidy.
Busy as always. Well stocked shelves. Plenty of staff on hand. Lots of free parking spaces. Direct level access from car park to shop for those less abled.
