What a brilliant Home Bargains store, this is really big with so much choice when comparing with other stores in the county. It also has a cafe.
I love this dinky store it has everything. This is my little place to go with my grandson on mummy's shopping day. We sit in the cafe with our cuppa tea and juice with a flapjack. We both just ppl watch or chat about his cars I love most products from here the garden part with all it's solar light is so cute . Small store but big things inside . Great place.
Store has a good variety of stock, and store is visibly clean. However friendliness and helpfulness of staff, not so good. Out of the 3 staff we communicated with on our visit. Only 1 the supervisor was lovely and willing to assist. One lady's customer service was unfortunately lacking and was unwilling to help which has costed HBA a star
A good place to shop in Alfreton as you will see by its popularity. Never had to queue more than 5 minutes here though as empty checkouts are quickly manned if people are waiting. Very competitive prices particularly on upper range toiletry products. Wide, clean, uncluttered aisles increase the average time I personally spend in a shop as I'm usually a grab what you want and get out kind of shopper. Also, their fresh sausage rolls are really good!
Love Home bargains.We travel from Mansfield to Alfreton once a week.I had a really nice experience with a lady called Wendy on the tills .I had enquired about a crushed velvet ottoman and was told by the staff on duty that there were none left.Talking to Wendy as we were going through the tills and she suggested ordering online which I did. Many thanks to Wendy.Please give her my thanks.It pays to ask further.

Cheap shop get your bit n bobs, go here most days n pick something new up I don't need but it was cheap so
There are so many items on the shelves. It's unlikely that they don't have what you're looking for! Well laid out store and clean. Staff are very helpful. Large car park .
Always spot on with prices.When you want a couple of items and end up with a basket full of goodies, visit them soon
Love shopping in Home Bargains. Their upholstery spray is gorgeous.
