Good conference facilities. Large auditorium and exhibition space. Free WiFi. Catering is spot on.
The PA in the auditorium didn't work well. The team had radio Mics but there was a slight delay between them speaking and their voice coming out of the speakers. It didn't help with the softly spoken presenter. That and the toilets were the only parts of the building I visited.
Generally good except when the heating is off and the air conditioning is stuck on. Then it is freezing. Foods good though.
I attended the ICM conference here and it was a great place for a conference
Lovely building it was graduation at that site too, they had portacabins men and woman,cleaned on regular basis water available all the time free, due to the heat and event.
Attended my son's graduation yesterday. Started with the distribution of gowns and hats followed by the ceremony being held in Sir David Wallace Hall. Excellent organisation by Loughborough University.
Good for our on site training and the food provided was ok. Rooms were spacious and had catered break areas
Spacious area but stodgy food
Great restaurant! But only ok coffee area, free wi-fi, but need to get password from reception, not sure why you can't just get auto one? No newspapers available, which I think would be really good. Parking excellent, but you need to go through a security barrier and explain why you've come. Very nice guy on security by the way.
Nice open space with drink making facilities for networking. Nice area, reasonable lecture theatre... Shame about the only entrance being at the front so latecomers/early leavers have to walk past the stage. Otherwise great.
