Very busy when we arrived on Wed morning at 11.30am. There were sign to say it's full. So hung about until we saw someone leave about 30mins later.nOut of 3 machines 1 was out of order. Need to enter your car registration number, and then choose duration. £1 per hour, so really reasonable.nThere are signs to say it us closed on Sat & Sun. Typical... as Sunday is free!

Lots of space, machines work and take cards! Perfect place to park the car + hike up for a wonderful view of Edinburgh!

Seems to be the only place to park your car when hiking up to Arthur's seat. Note toilet is 100m across the field at the red building. Small road leading to the toilet has sign prohibiting unauthorised cars but we saw other cars driving in

Huge, plenty of spaces, and FREE till 8pm on Sundays. Excellent place to park and walk around to Edinburgh Castle, Palaca of Holyrood House,  Princes Street and of course Arthur's Seat. This is not the closest to Arthur's Seat though. No coffee shop in the area - only ice-cream vending vans.

Busy car park as it is located in such a convenient place.. easy to park and explore nearby attractions such as Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Arthur’s Seat, Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh fort to name a few! Didn’t realise but weekends are free! No lights, so one has to be careful when using at late nights.
