A hidden gem  Amazing selection with fair prices  The chap who runs the place is very charming.  If you want a more organic or nostalgic browsing experience this is the place.  Has a great select of older history  books with a varied selection of war books.  Also a big range of books on the Sex Pistol which I gather is a personal favourite of the owner.  Honestly I go to Alton just for this shop. Takes me an hour each way on the bus but totally worth it.  I always come away with something wonderful and unexpected.

Delightful book shop run by a helpful and very knowledgeable chap. He gave me an honest appraisal of the books I had brought to him.
