Gorgeous Minster right next to the awesome Trinity Indoor Market, both cultural icons of Hull! Would recommend going in just to see the stained glass windows, although we did go to an Earth exhibition they were hosting which was fantastic and also a street food festival out the front which was bustling and delicious and fun!
One of the most beautiful and historical parts of Kingston Upon Hull , beautiful inside and out - currently the outside of the building has lots of scaffolding due to ongoing works - a very quiet and relaxing place to sit outside with a home made lunch - the bells still always ring and sound wonderful!
Well worth a visit check opening hours. Ask to be shown the Thompson mice!
The volunteers were so welcoming and informative. The Minster was a lovely place. The carvings and windows are gorgeous. They had a cafe and nice gift shop as well with books about the history of Hull and the Minster. I enjoyed my visit.
Brilliant Minster. A beautiful mix of old with new. Always a pleasure visiting. The underfloor heating is welcome on cooler nights too
What a great exhibition. So exciting to see the magnificent reproduction of Michelangelo's artwork from the Sistine Chapel. It was well organised so that the Minster was not crowded and you didn't have to queue.
Rare to give 5 stars for a church, but they had the moon on show. Stunning minster in a pretty square yes, in Hull close to town centre. Lovely place to wander, contemplate and reflect on how fortunate you are to be here.
