The School was opened in December 1969 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is one of two co-educational, Voluntary Aided, Church of England 11-18 schools in West Sussex and serves the three Deaneries of Horsham, Cuckfield & East Grinstead.

This school has gone down hill fast over the last few years. The bullying in this school is out of control. They say the safeguarding at this school is priority, this is rubbish, your children are not safe, no point of having cctv as this is not looked at. Do not send your children here. The teaching is awful as the teachers have no control over the badly behaved kids which stops the ones that want to learn. The school is very run down too. This school needs a good shake up and needs someone new in charge to turn it round.
The school has great resources and building. The refectory has great, affordable meals and all the teachers are kind and nice. Though, some students can ruin the experience for the rest and can cause problems around the school ground, like litter.
This school is the worst place I've ever attended in my life. The school is slowly falling apart, the students are poorly disciplined and the head teacher has a horrible god complex. Reverend Millwood is the worst thing to happen to this school, and there are only 2-3 good teachers left in this god awful place. This is a Catholic school but it feels like it came straight out of hell. If any mother sees this and considers sending their child here. Don't.
I would not recommend this school to anyone. Problems with bullying and fighting. Some of the staff are great and I feel sorry for them : This school needs a big shake up and a strict head teacher.
I wouldn't recommend this school to any parent thinking of sending there child to this school. My son has been having problems since October last year got sorted once, now he is having problems both in school and on the way home from school reported it to a few teachers they don't seem bothered and nothing they can do apparently. Doesn't seem to be any discipline.
