It's beautiful place, but with all the construction of new housing around,I'd hope that animals won't be disturbed. And maintained clean. Good walk, though.
Really enjoyed the walks plenty to see including the awsome beef herd camping in the woods,need to track down the miniature ponies on our next trip Outside of the woods the lows have some amazing walks in proper norfolk countryside not much of it left on this scale just mind the thorns reminded me of the area around my first childhood home
Lovely walk through the woods did the long walk took sbout 1 hour. Lots of areas with play kit in for kids. Enjoyed it.
Lovely walk along the sculpture trail. We saw lots of wildlife including a grass snake swimming around! Nice little playground for the kids and reasonable parking fee. Playground: Small but good for smaller kids Restrooms: Clean and well maintained.
Very small but still a nice place to walk. There is a pond with a bird hide and many, albeit short trails around the woods. The longest is 2 miles I think, but you can attach it to other trails. Parking is £2.30 all day payable on an app, however there's little to no mobile phone signal there, so this isn't really possible. It has a pay by card or cash option on the machine, but this was out of order, so free parking that day The little cafe is nice, we got some very nice local ice cream. Car park is small and fills up quickly mind.
This is a lovely place to walk. There are snacks and drinks available to buy, toilets and a playground. Off the pathnot with a pushchair is particularly quiet. Some interesting carvings to look out for and a pond where we watched a frog and the frog watched us. Lovely to get away from it all
Beautiful place to be with your family. Pet friendly and love the kids play area. Highly recommended Love the small café and clean toilets.
A nice country park, car park not too big so requires sensible parking to allow no wasted space, pay & display machine cash plus app to pay online but note very limited phone signal, especially by the machine!! Good choice ofctrails to follow from short to nature views and long distance. Well maintained but some areas are prickly and can be muddy on the longer trails. Picnic tables by carpark. Small teashop and information centre on site. Great word sculptures to seek out. Dog-friendliness: Provision for dogs with poo bins in a few places. Warning signs for areas where short leash required. Picnic area: Picnic tables on edge of carpark so a great place to eat before you set off or as a reward for finishing, note it is on other side of carpark to the kids play area so kids not tempted to lose concentration when eating!
A really lovely place. Great for walking, and a cafe and toilets on site. Dogs loved it.
This place has a slightly fairytale magic feel to it. You can wonder through the woods and follow the trails and you can also walk beyond them to the neighbouring, more open, shrubland. Literally stunning. I came upon some white horses whilst walking so there is that to be aware of. A fantastic little cafe and visitors area when you arrive. There are also clean toilets too, and parking is only £2 for the whole day!! Crazy cheap.
