They might not always be perfect but I have had fantastic service through Holsworthy Medical Centre recently. I haven’t had to wait long to get through to reception and the staff have been really helpful - Particularly Janet who worked hard to help me when I gave her a challenge. Thank you
Always seems to be barriers to making contact with the surgery in the first place. Sometimes not allowed to phone until after 11am. The econsult system often seems to be 'temporarily disabled'.nnI want to add that the staff at Hatherleigh are all very helpful and I've always had a good experience with the doctors and nurses if I've seen them. Allowing Hatherleigh to manage patients requests by phone at their surgery would go along way to alleviate things.
Felt unwell last Wednesday called at 9.04 got put on triage list had call 10mins later to attend surgery was seen by a lovely nurse practioner given antibiotics. Can not fault the staff they try their hardest in difficult situations.
This surgery doesn't even deserve the 1 star, but it's not possible to give zero.nI have never known a gp surgery like it, trying to get a face to face appointment is virtually impossible, as the receptionists seem to think they know best and will book you a telephone appointment and most of the time that's with a nurse.nWhen patients need to see a gp or are requesting a follow up following hospital treatment,it is not for an unqualified receptionist to make the decision on if you see your gp or not.nI have seen many 1 star reviews here stating similar things, maybe it's time we all got together and spoke to the Devon Healthcare Trust and got something done about the diabolical service we recieve here in Holsworthy or does a patient have to die, before something is done about it.
Eventually got through to the Health Center managed to get a telephone appointment for 2 weeks time. Got the call from the Doctor who said o needed to come in and that someone would call me to arrangenNo one has called in the subsequent 5days.nCannot get through to chase as they are not taking calls.nThe speed at which our health center's service has gone downhill is astounding
