Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club in Littleborough near Rochdale offers competitive racing for sailors of all levels coupled with an active training and social programme.
The Club holds 3 races on Sunday afternoons from the beginning of March to the middle of December.
From mid April to early September, racing is also organised on Wednesday evenings.
The club holds annual Open Meetings for its major classes and is regularly called upon to hold national inland and area championships.
You do not need to buy a boat to join the club. Crewing opportunities are always available and there are GP14's, Mirrors and Optimists for members to use.
One great thing about HLSC is that, as a member of the club, you can choose to sail on the lake whenever you want! This option is available on any day of the week and safety cover can be arranged with the Water Activity Centre during their operating times.
