Sunny weather brings out all the picknickers, many of which leave their rubbish. It's never there for long, always workers clearing up after them. They do a good job. Plenty of parking space, Don't know the charge as I pay £20 for the year to the council.
Large area, season ticket holder £20 per yesr
Fairly nice promenade, but the sea view is full of wind turbines doesn't bother me but I suppose it might others. Only real downside is that there's a water treatment works nearby and the wind might result in a bit of a smell. It's a decent place to take dogs for a walk, I'd say.
Be better if it was free so 4 stars, good parking and nice walk ROM here dow to Clacton along the sea front
Can't give 5 stars because it's pay and display but that said it's a good place to park away from the town with quite beaches and walks by the sea. You can even walk to Frinton from here.
You can literally park your car here, for free after 6 aswell. So there's that.
Great views with open space for ball games, kites or a stroll along the coast. The coastal cycle route also runs by and a good place to stop for a break or to set off. There is a public toilet and a prom located outlet for ice creams tea and a bacon butty perfect to end off a walk.
Just the place for dogs to have a party plenty of wonderful open space just about 500 yards is a dog friendly beach. Lovely walks, a gem on the East Coast, plus a world class cafe again Dogs most welcome
Awful new ticket machines that ask for your registration number and take ages too use. This queue took me 25 minutes to get through.
Cheap and cheerful. Stones throw from the Beach. You dont have to queue to use the machine, just take a note of the code and chuck it in MiPermit. Easy. It even describes exactly what to do. And it isnt expensive either.
