Great place to stay, rooms well furnished and warm. Includes iron, ironing board full size, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Shower is great and there were good quality Dove toiletries. Breakfast was perfect, everything we could ask for, even supplying little bags for ones that want to breakfast on the go. Staff were funny and friendly and the hotel is walking distance from the main town. Will definitely book again
This is just on the edge of town, by my reckoning. Was a ten minutes walk to meet up for dinner in the centre.nThe rooms were compact but extremely well laid out, everything you need is there. It was clean and modern. Bed and pillows good. Shower only, no bath.nDid not have the complimentary breakfast.nThere was a fee for parking, but that’s ok, £16 overnight? I think?nWould I stay again when in Exeter - absolutely
Stayed for one night at the end of December with my puppy. Wish I could have stayed longer. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice and spacious the room was and how clean it appeared. Staff were friendly, check in and check out was easy. Breakfast seemed cheap, but did the job. Good for the price. Impressed!
The hotel itself was quite nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a decent start to the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the parking situation was a real let-down. The £16 daily fee charged by the external company is simply outrageous and significantly detracts from the overall experience
Fantastic location and good hearty breakfast. I am writing this review though, because of Beyza- the fabulous woman who checked me in, made sure I had everything I needed, and was friendly, efficient, and professional. An absolute star and the reason I have chosen to stay at Holiday Inn as I continue my road trip around this part of England. Thank you Beyza for being the perfect example of a good host!
