Amazing fabric shop! I went there today and I wanted to get the blue fabric that I got. I also got only one large zip for a cushion that I had made for myself I also got a plain red fabric as well as the other two patterned fabric one was the small united kingdom flag and the other one has Marvel characters on the blue background. Would recommend if I could.

They do not only stock varieties of fabrics at affordable prices, check out their staffs, they are divine. Amazing customer service with smiles and good approach to customers even at their busiest time. I strongly recommend ths place and will visit again. Keep the good work up guys

Brilliant shop. Downstairs has dressmaking fabric, haberdashery and patterns including patterns for £1. Theres lots of choice and everything is reasonably priced.  Upstairs is an absolute treasure trove for curtains — there’s more fabric choice than anywhere else as well as curtain poles and all the rest of it. The shop is deceptive, it looks small from the outside but theres just so much upstairs its unbelievable! There’s a made to measure service for curtains and staff were very informative and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Never paid much attention to this shop because of what it specialises in, but I decided to pop in to see if they did lace trim, I was spoilt for choice, nearly a hour later I had spent over £16 on metres and metres of different styles, many thanks to the lovely girls there who were busy with many customers but still made me very welcome with lots of info about other things available. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent range of materials and different patterns at great prices. I love the ‘off cut bin’ with bits of material at a reduced price. Found some great bits of material in there in the past.

Upset by my last visit. This has been my go-to fabric shop since before i was born. My nan used this place, my mum did, and then so did I. Fairly expensive, but it's an independent shop, and fabric isn't cheap, so fair enough. Until recently. I bought quite some meters of continuous zip, to make a project multiple cosmetic style bags that match. The shop assistant picked out zipper ends that should fit on the zip for me, and I bought it all. The zipper ends didn't all match in colour, but that was fine by me. I used 2 zipper ends on my prototype, and went to make the real things. Unfortunately, the rest of the zipper ends that I was supplied with didn't fit the zip at all. I returned what was left of the zip approx 3?? Meters and the other zipper ends. The lady on the till asked if I had a receipt. I showed her the picture of it on my phone as it was a business expense and was told that they needed it on paper. After some argument, they agreed to use the photo as proof of purchase. They then told me that I bought 3.5m and only returned 3m. I explained that I used approx 1/2 a meter on my project, but the zips didn't fit, and they couldn't replace the zips with ones that did fit, because they didn't have any in stock. They then told me that tey needed to see the project that I used it on that was luckily in my car and they measured how much zip was used in it. I eventually got a full refund. Its insane to me that I intended to buy 3.5m of zip and approx 12zipper ends, to use on projects that had to match, and when the shop supplied me with the wrong thing, I had to FIGHT for a refund but would have happily accepted a replacement it it were in stock. I felt treated so poorly, I'll unfortunately not be coming back. I'm not interested in further discussing the issue, I just want people to know that refunds are NOT easy to come by, even when the mistake was made by the store.

I or should I say we, practically the whole of the Teddy Boys and girls have purchased suit material for drapes and dress material to make rock n roll dresses have been amazed at the knowledge that all the girls have and who are so helpful when browsing through their stock which is immense and so much to choose from. I took a member of a band last weekend to choose shirt material and they got all their stock out to show him and then he got confused as to which one to pick . Can I say a big thank you Jenny and to all the girls who are so helpful and always got a smile for every customer.  Keep the good work up girls and we will be back again very soon.  Your the best

Astonishing range of stock, really friendly and helpful staff.

Had foam for the outside furniture cut to size while we waited, fantastic service and lovely people.., staff were lovely and I was really impressed with the variety of haberdashery the shop sells.., . bit expensive but excellent workmanship  work womanship  lol..., I would of paid the ..price for great results..  thanks.
