3rd best curry house I've been 2 never had a bad meal small and cosy inside another great meal never have bad food service slow 2 night but was busy .need 2 update the billing system hand written so 1980 ...hard 2 understand especially when group of people. That are picky ..Well another visit Saturday very slow service asked for a tikka was more like a korma beer was awful flat as f..k...wasn't impressed at all .. after a few good visit..give it a miss for awhile now try somewhere new
We nearly ALWAYS visit Holdi, when visiting the area from Birmingham. Our order rarely changes from Chicken Tikka Balti, Masalla & Chicken Tikka Karahi. The quality and taste of the food served here is second to NONE. Absolutely divine food, really pleasant service. Food is always hot & fresh. We always have a really wonderful time…. Would thoroughly recommend to all!
Had a meal here with family including two kids, food and service was excellent, the decor and atmosphere was brilliant. 8th May 23, Another great night out with family and friends, eight of us enjoyed the lovely food, friendly service and atmosphere.
Lovely food! Poppadoms & starters were really nice and good value. Naan was one of the nicest I’ve had too Friendly staff inside and it got busy quick too It’s also really nicely decorated inside too x

We've had better experiences in Holdi. I ordered a king prawn karahi with mushroom rice. For a medium curry and a flavoured rice, both dishes were bland. The rice didn't arrive with our meal, so we had to wait for that to be cooked and they didn't even apologise for the wait when they finally bought the rice over. They overcharged me 5p, I know it's only 5p we didn't say anything about it, but I'd air on the side of caution moving forward and will always add up my bill before paying.
This was very disappointing. We have had food from their takeaway and it's always been good quality so we booked to go to their restaurant, never again! The service wasn't very good and it looked as though it was too much trouble. Our table was booked for 9pm and there were others in the restaurant. The food wasn't particularly good, my chicken danzac was dry with one big pineapple ring. During the course of eating our meals they started hoovering the floor which created a very unpleasant smell and we felt they wanted rid of us. We paid up and as we left the premises the shutters were coming down. Quite appalling and we won't be going back.
Fab food as usual salmon excellent, we even had starters this time, wonderful flavours. Staff friendly and courteous as usual.Food: 5/5
They’ve got a very friendly staff who are happy to help and recommend various dishes as per your taste. The dishes themselves are hit or miss, I felt but defo worth trying. The decoration is nice and cosy. Try to avoid going late
