Yes it's new years eve,was told by the lady taking orders,placed at 5.38pm would be1 to1 1/2 hrs. 3 hrs later still waiting. Been regulars for years in collection/ deliveries. NOT NO MORE . SICK OF THE BULL arrived 8.45pm.What made it even worse.they forgot the boiled rice and the egg fried rice with our meals . Phoned them but could have free rice's with our next meal as was too busy to bring them out. Very disappointed with there couldn't care attitude. Was a reliable customer
Ordered 6.10pm £30 . Estimated to deliver in 1hr 30mins 5-10 mins away in a car... 2 hrs and 5 mins later no food. I ring up, hard to understand rude woman screeches at me cutting me off as I ask if I could have an update that it will be there in 5 mins. I say ok I will ring back if not. 15 mins later, annoyance rising, food arrives, driver dropped it at door, knocked and literally ran off. When i go to eat it I see why. Special fried rice is clearly old, chicken pieces have black on parts of it, hardly any shredded beef and little to no sauce on it. 2 of the ribs I could not pull meat off with my teeth. Utterly dire food which meant we had to reorder late from somewhere decent. Never, never order from here. Its sadly not the first time this has happened and like a fool I thought time might have changed things. Clearly not. Bedford takeaways just get worse and worse. I wanted to leave a review for them on the site I ordered from order2eat but that site is as far as I can tell is hiding the review button.
Went here for the first time not too long ago and I must say, the sweet & sour chicken balls are dam good here. Best in bedford I have had. Best I have had in a while. Portion size is great. Sweet and sour sauce also great. Will definitely be going back

I have found my favourite Chinese takeaway in Bedford. Food is delicious and generous size portions. Very very tasty and quick delivery. I will not go anywhere else in the future. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian crispy duck is excellent.
Decided to mix things up and order from these guys yesterday instead of ordering from one of my usual Chinese takeaways. It arrived in good time and as I spent more that £20 the prawn crackers came free - always a nice touch. I ordered the Singapore chow mein, the salt and pepper spare ribs and the deep fried shredded beef in chilli sauce. All piping hot upon delivery, and it all tasted divine. The deep fried shredded beef in chilli sauce wasn't to my exact taste in comparison to other Chinese takeaways I've had before, but every Chinese takeaway appears to do it differently. I'll definitely be ordering from these guys again.
Food here is mostly decent, lovely satay and ribs as always, For a change I ordered crispy chilli beef but it was very soggy and not crispy at all, don’t know if it’s a problem with the batter but still tasted nice, I also ordered 1/4 crispy duck for the first time and all was good apart from the spring onions and cucumber which comes with it as both looked like they were cut the day before as had gone brown and lost all the water from the cucumber and really dry and not nice to look at.
My new ‘go to’ Chinese! I’ve Ordered from there twice so far, both times the food has arrived hot and very delicious. I was so happy, I even called them to thank them! I’ve tried most of the takeaways in Bedford in search of my favourite Chinese, but I don’t need to look any further. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. *Update* I tend to have a Chinese a few times a month I’d have it weekly if I could! EVERY TIME I order from here, the food is amazing and very delicious. EVERY TIME!!! Just wish my misses liked Chinese so I could order it more often. It’s a Great takeaway and I genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone
Absolutely furious, made my order at around 5.20 and was told delivery around 6.35. At 6.30 receive a message from Just Eat to say my order is cancelled. Phone the restaurant to ask for an explanation. sorry no driver Rude and dreadful customer service. They didn't even have the decency to offer that i collect. First and last time.
On 18Aug2020 Hoi Tin Bedford, under new management opened its doors with a new Menu. They will strive to provide the Best Authentic Chinese Takeaway in town, just like the original family owned business did years ago. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and you get an overall good service.
