Fantastic new management! Received a warm and friendly welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Nothing was too much trouble for tge staff and they were very friendly and approachable... even starting conversations with you rather than just taking your money and saying "thank you" . I hope to become a new regular now its under new management.
Thankfully, this place has been taken over by new management. A lovely family who made us all feel more than welcome during our visits over the festive season. They absolutely pampered their customers with sweets, treats and good old fashioned 'customer care'. Always out and about wiping down tables and socialising. Looking forward to the menus in the New Year too
Under new management and got to say what a relief, we have started going back regularly with our friends again. New landlady is very welcoming and open to new ideas, very friendly and clean atmosphere looking forward to trying the food! Ignore any reviews before October 2022 as old management and this place has now been completely turned around
If you remember the hobs from years ago, it's not like that anymore. It's much better looked after now, quite smartly decorated and they have decent beers on tap. The staff seem nice too
Super helpful and supportive staff, nice old school pub for the locals or if you're passing thru, you'll be welcomed
Held a wake here for my dad and the staff was fantastic so helpful and really accomodating, even sorting some food out at short notice which was great, lovely décor and a great atmosphere of being friendly and homely
Great bar staff very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble especially the young lad who was on Saturday he looked very familiar to someone I knew who thought he was a great dancer but I put him in his place many a time when he challenged me oh those were the days!!
Very impressed with the new look as had not been in since the refurbishment. Went for a meal at Sunday lunchtime, 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Well looked after and food was very enjoyable / good value. Plenty of range for all tastes! Massive 'go large' Sunday roast dinner went down a treat with turkey and beef cooked to perfection.
Great place for food! Had a breakfast here for the first time, but it definitely won't be the last. Superb service and quality food. Excuse my breakfast photo, I swapped out bacon for other items
I visited Hobs Meadow now it's under New Management and I must say I had a great time, such a friendly atmosphere and the new proprietor is very welcoming, I was very impressed with the way it's being run such an improvement, I I would commended it to anyone who enjoys a good drink with a good company,
