I had to come on to leave a review because the staff at Hobbycraft Rochester really went above and beyond for us recently. I placed a click and collect order for a few items and was told it would be ready to collect after an hour. However, we didn't receive an email to say it was ready. After a few hours my husband and son who were in the area popped in to see if the order was ready as we thought maybe the email had gone astray. They were told that one of the items was damaged that's why we hadn't had the email and it was the last one in stock. They were offered an alternative, but my son wanted the item we had ordered. So they collected the items that were available and were told the manager was going to drive to another store the following day to collect a replacement item for us! And the manager was so helpful and friendly, he offered my son a token item to say sorry - my son was thrilled!nnWhen we went to collect the item about a week later, the staff member who dealt with us I didn't catch her name knew exactly who we were and the item had been stored safely in the office. Really good service, we were so impressed at how they handled the situation! Thank you Hobbycraft Rochester!
Very good place for your arty craft bits but can be quite pricey. I would recommend checking out other stores such as B&M if you're looking to save some money before going here.nThe items are good quality and they have such a variety.
Versatile, accessible and lovely staff! Found lots of cool and unique items that I haven't seen in many other places. Their promotional card is free and saved myself and my partner a fair chunk of change during our experience.nnThe only reason it isnt a 5 star is from lack of visibility for the sections. My partner and I spent most of our time trying to locate various items, as the signage was not ideal. Furthermore, we didn't have staff who greeted us or asked if we needed assistance.
Lovely shop. friendly staff and dog friendly. Yes they allow you to take your furry friend into the store.
