I recently visited Hobbycraft in Sheffield and had a great experience. The store is a paradise for crafters, with a vast range of supplies for almost any project you can think of—whether you're into painting, knitting, baking, or scrapbooking, they seem to have it all. The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find what you need, and there are plenty of ideas and inspiration around the store. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful advice when I had questions about some products. Although the store can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, it never feels overwhelming, and the checkout process was smooth and quick. Overall, Hobbycraft Sheffield is a fantastic place to explore your creative side and pick up everything you need for your next project.
I’m sure that I visited this store a number of years ago. It seems much smaller than U remember. The store itself is light and bright with lots of space between the aisles, so great for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc and the products are well organised in areas. I loved the fact that I saw children genuinely excited about going into the store. This is a particularly good store to visit for wedding preparations-table decorations, hoops, garlands, ribbons etc
I go in frequently for embroidery thread and sometimes other craft supplies. Not much different to prices online and it’s nice to have it instantly and not have to wait for shipping. Store is well organised and got everything you could need.
A very large shop with lots of stock but the prices are steep. I wanted a large number of pull bows and a large roll of clear cellophane, they had both in stock but far more expensive than online. Needless to say I left the shop without either and intend to purchase online. Parking is available and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Called in today as hubby wanted some balsa wood, he got 3 pieces and i thought he might want gas and air when he paid for it . It's a great shop with all your craft needs. Wool, material , sewing, card making , model making, art stuff ,flower arranging whatever rocks your boat. Could be a bit pricey depends on what you want.
I didn't know such a place existed in Sheffield until today my husband took me there to buy me a phone. Their customer representatives are amazing and always willing to direct and help you. Currys electronics products are unbeatable.
Wonderfully stocked, clean, calm environment. Spacious but stocked up very well. Wonderful helpful staff. Will most certainly return to this store again. Plenty of carparking, wheelchair friendly store.
When I arrived at hobby craft I wanted a large self healing cutting board, found it easily an the price was great. Then looked for items to do Sashiko needle work an was disappointed found nothing. Also they have only a small section for quilting accesories. Went home deflated at my trip. 2 days later ordered fabric online for delivery
It's a good place to get crafting supplies, they have a very wide range of different supplies covering just about any craft you can think of , if the physical store doesn't have what you want , the online store usually does and with click and collect for free you can just pick it up from here.
I visit the store often and always get great customer service, however Karen G always seem positive and happy to help!
