Absolutely impressive, it has everything to make models. A super extensive and complete catalog. In the store you see many models but they give you the catalog and whatever you want from it they look for it for you. To all those whose hobby is to make miniatures, I recommend this shop. It also has a website.
Original house built for Christmas 1984. Had lots of use. Refurbished June 2019. Amazed they still had original plans and parts. Service was by return of post. Excellent company and product.
The customer service was very good until, the person serving me was replaced with a member of staff who was less than courteous when I asked if I could have a discount considering how many items I had just purchased 6 kits, extra paint, and 4 cutters. She became very curt and asked when I go to Tesco's do I ask for a discount. How rude, yes I do when I visit a small establishment to help keep it running, instead of ordering from Amazon or other online company. As I tried to explain my request was not unreasonable. I was met with. Put your pin in. Put your pin in. I did and thanked the helpful member of staff. Next time it will be Amazon, has the art of customer service died. I did ring and speak to the owner, who said he would have a word with her, but had never had a problem with her. Maybe, but you only get one chance to make a good first impression .
Used to shop here in the 80s and 90s when i lived nearby and the service and quality of goods was always wonderful. After 15 years living far from West Norwood, I needed to go to London and called in again to pick up a couple of items, visiting a favourite shop for old time's sake. It was great to find the same level of service and both new and fondly remembered items there. A recommended company!
I actually visited this shop 40+ years ago and have dealt with them since then but by mail order. This company is by far the best, I have never been disappointed, if I have a problem I just phone up and it is dealt with immediately. Want something for your Hobby go to Hobby's Ltd.
Their customer service is non existent, their response to items not received is abysmal, hopefully once my missing item is received I will never ever have to deal with this company again. They definitely have a sales prevention team on the end of their telephones and their website which crashes continually.If I could leave zero stars I would
Excellent service ant fantastic stock for the model maker and hobbyist. Dealt with this company in my teens and had Hobbies Weekly on a regular basis. I am now 80.
Made an order just under 2 months ago. They took my money and sent a receipt, then radio silence. No confirmation of dispatch, no order arriving, and no response to my emails to sort it out. Would not try them again
Absolutely terrible service. Customer service simply don’t answer your queries. Delivery, which you pay for is very slow. They also sell via other online retailers much cheaper with free delivery so buying from them seems like you’re being ripped off... which you essentially are. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
