Been going to this bakery since my teens a friend introduced me to chinese pastries and sweet cakes. I am now in my 30s and take my own daughter here now. Love the sweet crust honey buns and black bean sesame seed balls. The staff are polite and friendly and i will always pop in whenever i am in the town centre.
Get the best value breads/buns in here. We often go from work to get things, custard kind of bun is do nice and less that 50p... Only issue is they only take cash,so it's a pain if you have to go take cash our first

There's not many things I miss about working in Manchester but Ho's bakery is one of them. Their pork buns are delicious, I don't know if they still do them but their savoury sticks were fantastic - a savoury stick shaped fried doughnut.
My favourite place to get red bean paste buns. Can sell out quickly though, get there early while they're fresh!
Ho's great - I love their Pork Bun and Egg Custard tart. I would recommend going here if you're after something different. Brilliant. Friendly staff too!
