It was absolutely brilliant I never thought I would find so much in a shop
A cool shop provoking memories of yesterday when shops sold cds and dvds.. They also sell other bits and bobs including moomins !! A rather large and fancy vinyl collection at the back of the store. Prices are reasonable and some cds I havnt seen for a while, also some stock of some that are currently sold out on Amazon. Till service quick and efficient. A good find for music lovers especially!!
Was there to see a local band play live called The Jacquerie. Great local band and many thanks to HMV for hosting them.
Awesome Store some really cool merch from all kinds, Rock bands, Marvel, DC funko pops think some customers got to understand that CDs don't sell much now must move on. The Dvds can be a little difficult to find what you want at times. Loving seeing the vinyl records too Great to be a regular customer and a great local store selling goods you would not see in other shops.
An excellent store with lots of varied merchandise. Only draw back is a tiny section of CD's but I guess it's not needed with all the streaming services available for downloading music however I'm old school and you can't beat a hard copy
Happened upon this store today - some really cool stock in terms of music, film and collectibles. Sour point was they don't supply bags and Inwasnr paying £4 for tote bag when spending £60 already!
Really friendly staff in here and a great selection of items. The shop is also really clean and tidy. I have shopped in here quite a few times and got some really nice gifts for my daughter and teenage step sons.
Great to have the shop back in the town centre although there is a smaller selection of cds / dvds than I remember. Larger selection of vinyl - sadly at the back of the store maybe until security tags are sorted? - reflects the current trend and earning potential of these products. I wonder when cassettes will make their comeback? Never please! Most of the floorspace is taken up with other "stuff" for grandparents to buy for fans.
JUST BEEN TO HMV SOLIHULL, ORDED JUDAS PRIEST INSEAD OF KK PRIEST, DIDN'T HAVE IT IN STORE SO ORDED IT TO HOME ADDRESS, SO HOPEFULLY WILL GET IT SOON, AMAZING LADY HELPED ME OUT
The place seems to have adapted well. They are now selling collectibles and items your wouldn't find in your average shop anime chocolate as such, along side dvds, vinyl and even Cds. I do recommend going there.
